Actors and performers were out in full force last night (May 5) making their final preparations for Rundown 2016. The popular Caymanian satire will kick off at the Harquail on May 12 where actors and performers will poke fun at current topics of interest in day-t0-day Caymanian dialogue.
The cast members took the stage last night rehearsing jokes and the stage presence needed as they aimed to prepare a performance of epic and cultural proportions. Cast member Giselle Webb says her team members have been bringing their A-game to rehearsals despite constantly practicing jokes over and over again.
Ms. Webb describes her cast members as brilliant and shared her praises for show Director Mr. Henry Muttoo. “He is in charge of the total vision of the show from writing the script, to actually putting it on stage directing and actually developing the set at the same time. So he has a big job on his shoulders, he wears many hats so he needs as much support as he can and of course we have a great professional team,” Ms. Webb said.
The cast members will have two more rehearsal days before the show begins on the 12th and ends on May 29th.
