Cayman’s Under-17 Boys National team footballers already are getting ready for their run in the upcoming Caribbean Football Union World Cup qualifiers.
This is the same squad — for the most part — that finished third place in 2015 at the CFU Under-15 championship, the best a Cayman team has finished at that level.
So head coach Ernie Seymour and team manager Antwan Seymour join host Kevin Morales to talk about the upcoming competition, how the team could fare and why it’s important for Cayman.
We also hear from beach volleyball player Jessica Wolfenden, who helped Cayman finish fourth at the recent local stop of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour. That’s the best a Cayman team has finished in recent memory.
Then we get a check in with ultimate frisbee, we look back on the NFL Draft, we get some analysis on the Major League Baseball season and we run down our Top 5 Plays of the Week all on the 4 May episode of Let’s Talk Sports.
