Ross remains in 7th at Caribbean golf championships

Cayman Islands golfer Brian Ross remains tied for seventh place Thursday (28 July) at the 2016 Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships, in the Bahamas.

Ross shot a 1-under par 71 in his third round, bringing his three-round total for the tournament to an even 216. He sits nine strokes back of the leader heading into Friday’s (29 July) fourth and final round of play. Trinidad and Tobago’s Sachin Kumar sits atop the leaderboard.

Peyton Wight is tied for 20th overall. He shot his second 2-over 74 in as many days.

Michael Wight is tied for 33rd, Joel Dodson is tied for 35th while Philip Wight and Andrew Jarvis are 42nd and 43rd, respectively.
