Brathwaite leads West Indies

The opening batsman Kraigg Brathwaite lead the West Indies back into contention on the second day of the third and final test against Pakistan.

Braitwaite anchored West Indies to 244 for 6 reviving them in first innings from an uncertain 38-3 by combining in two solid half century stands with Roston Chase and Shane Dowrich.

The West Indies are just 37 runs short of overhauling Pakistan’s first innings total. The West Indies will bat last on the wearing pitch. Pakistan has won every match of the tour thus far.
