Bulgarian in court for attempted ATM fraud

Bulgarian Nikolay Nafkov Nikolov remains in custody at HM Northward Prison.

Mr Nikolov, who appeared in court via video link from prison, was denied bail.

He is facing two counts of theft and two counts of attempt thefts, all related to ATM fraud, which allegedly took place at two local banks late last month.

The 35-year-old Bulgarian appeared in Court Two before magistrate Valdis Foldats. He was represented by attorney John Furniss and will reappear in court on October 17th.
