Three in court for gun and drug charges

Three people were arrested and charged over the weekend after a raid in which police say drugs and ammunition were recovered.  Javier Howell, 24, was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.  Two women Emily Patrick and Alexandra Stasuiki were also arrested on possession charges related to ganja, cocaine, drug-paraphernalia, and ammunition.

The R.C.I.P.S said the arrests occurred early Friday (14 October) at the Lantern Point development in Prospect.

Police reported one of the suspects was arrested for murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Justin Manderson. However no murder charges were brought forth in court on Monday.

The three will re-appear in court on the 26th of October.
