More than 60 future rugby players headed to the rugby pitch for some Halloween fun over the weekend.
Head Coach of the Men’s and Women’s 7 team, Jovan Bowles says it was much more than just a fundraiser for the men and women’s rugby seven’s team.
“Rugby builds character, its been building character for many, many years but one of the most important things is that it’s not just about the for lines but bringing people together on and off the field. I think the kids thoroughly enjoyed it and the bobbing apple experience was very, very popular.”
The last weekend of the Rugby Summer Seven’s Series saw Ashley Furniture winning the tournament with 57 points.Fidelity Ama Tsotsi and the Carey Olsen Westin’s tie for second with 36 points. Peter O’neill Wolfhounds with 33 and the Crabbies Barbarians round things out with 15.
