Cayman Cup wraps up

The 2016 Cayman Cup wrapped up on Saturday with a Pro Exhibition match, the Junior and Senior’s finals.

Darian King,number one in the Caribbean and Jesse Witten, who made it to round of 16 at the US Open playing alongside one of the world’s greatest Novak Djokovic.

Witten wins the first set, King wins the second and the third set, winning the Pro-Exhibition match.

The Cayman Cup saw over 100 entries for participation, it all came down to number one seed Tyler Zink from the US taking on Daiki Yoshimura from Japan. In an entertaining match, Yoshimura won all three sets, he also defeated the number two seed earlier in the week as well.

Jade was one of 35 Young Reporters selected worldwide to be apart of the Young Reporters Programme by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) at the Second Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China. She was awarded the 'Best IOC Young Reporter', and went on to cover the Second Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lilehammer, Norway. Jade was also selected as a Young Reporter in 2015 to cover the Toronto Pan American Games, where she was awarded a Hockey Stick for her hard-work and dedication. Jade was the Press Officer for the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. She graduated with honors in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Florida
