Cayman team in route to RAN

Cayman’s National Men and Women’s Rugby 7’s team are on their way to the Rugby America’s North Tournament in Trinidad and Tobago.

The team will be training on Friday, 11 November. In preparation for their first games on Saturday 12 November.

The national men’s team will be in Men’s Pool C facing Curacao in the very first match of the tournament, next is Dominican Republic and their last pool game will be against Barbados.

The women will be in Pool A their first match is with neighbors Jamaica next is Canada and on day two they will be taking on Bermuda and Turks and Caicos.

The tournament will run for two days, Saturday and Sunday. The Cayman men’s team is expected to be a strong contenders having recently attended the Hong Kong Sevens Tournament earlier this year.

The top men’s teams will automatically earn a spot at next years Hong Kong Sevens.
