Javier Medina, is still in the top 5 at the World Jet Raid World Championships in Peru.
Medina and Peruvian partner were awarded third place for the off-shore F2 Open category, which was a 75 mile off shore race. The team competed in a two-part offshore race with a refueling stop today where Medina injured himself in the first half of the race riding the last three miles with one hand. His partner took over at the refueling stop.
The team will compete in the final race on Saturday November 26 in an offshore and an endurance race.
The team is currently standing in third place.
