Pan In De City

Nothing like a sweet drum pattern to get the body moving and that is what a crowd of over 400 people witnessed last night in george town for the “Pan in de city” tournament.

The event is part of the pirates week festivities and the results are in,
For the junior category, “Prep pan-tastic” came in first, prospect primary school was second and third place went to the John Gray High School Metro-Pans.
In the senior category “Triple C steel breeze” came in first place, with the song “Hot hot hot” by Arrow.
In the open division, “Pan ‘n riddim” was the winner by performing the song “Scene” by GBN neutron.
There were also non-competition performances by
“Pan people” and Cayman International School.
