Pirates invade for a good cause

Cayman’s Pirates Week wraps up in Cayman Brac this coming weekend.
But here in Grand Cayman the buccaneers were not only invading our streets, but our hospitals as well.
For a good cause of course. No looting there.
Last week the members of the Bloody Bay Buccaneers and our very own Captain Jack Sparrow visited pediatric patients and they were quite a hit. Little Demarco Moor was the first to be visited by captain jack at hospital.
Later on in the week the buccaneers returned for another special visit on the pediatric ward.
Pirates Week executive director Melanie Mcfield points out the visit was part of the community work that the pirates do and it’s not just about partying.
And you can head over to the sister isle for the close of pirates week events and of course sample some traditional Caymanian dishes.
