Progressives head to George Town

The US election campaign came to an end last night, but Cayman’s campaign heading into May 2017 is just getting started.
The Independents got the ball rolling with their roving district meetings in September and the CDP held its first public meeting earlier this month. Now it’s the Progressives turn.
The ruling party, lead by Premier Hon. Alden McLaughlin kicked off its campaign at Seafarers Hal in Prospect.
Now the meeting is billed as a George town district meeting, but it’s the first public political meeting from the Progressives and that signals the start of their re-election bid..
And according to the party’s flier the agenda included reports from George Town MLAs, discussion on Single Member Constituencies and updates on projects.
