Putting Parliamentary brakes on Brexit

The High Court in London is requiring the government of UK Prime Minister Theresa May to seek a vote Parliament before invoking Article 50 which will trigger an exit from the European Union. The Prime Minister will appeal the Thursday (3 November) ruling to the Supreme Court.

Cayman 27’s Pat Kreitlow talks with attorney Nick Dixey about the legal underpinnings of the ruling and the political arguments about whether the Brexit referendum is merely advisory and can be undone by MP’s.
