Scuba diving hall of fame exhibit to debut this weekend

The Cayman Islands National Museum is putting the finishing touches on a major new exhibit in collaboration with the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame.

This Saturday, the public will get its first look at the new exhibit, which honours those who helped to build scuba diving into the industry it is today. From early pioneers Jacques Cousteau and local legend Bob Soto, to the early equipment that first made breathing underwater possible, to the camera equipment that helped create iconic films and shows such as Jaws and Sea Hunt; it’s all on display.

The debut takes place Saturday, and is part of the National Museum’s weekend ‘Looky-ya’ festivities.
