Staff at the Equestrian Centre said they want more to be done to solve the multiple sexual assaults plaguing their ponies.
Police are continuing to investigate the assaults with the latest report coming earlier this month which involved a pony named “Pebbles” who survived the attack but continues to go through expensive medical treatment.
Equestrian Centre Owner Mary Alberga said after receiving an anonymous tip she reached out to the Police who she said took the information about the alleged “Horse attacker” and Ms. Alberga said she is questioning the officers’ efforts at this time.
“I wouldn’t say the police have ever said they weren’t following through they were here and they have come… I’ve got a tip and they came on Thursday and took it but I’m not sure that they have put all their effort in the investigation,” Ms. Alberga said.
The Police responded to Cayman 27 saying they are currently investigating the incident and they are urging members of the public with information to come forward as the entire community is needed to solve this crime.
