Saturday was the final day of competition at the 2016 FINA Championships , and all swimmers took to the pool for their finals swims. Lauren Hew swam in the 200 meter individual medley and 50 meter freestyle, finishing with times of 2:26:53 and 26:49. Alison Jackson swam the 50 meter freestyle in a time of 27.31 and Alex McCallum competed in the 100 meter freestyle finishing with a personal best of 52.20. The tournament was a successful one for Cayman Swimming, with Hew setting 8 national records in total.
