The Children and Youth Services foundation or CAYS as it’s known is under evaluation in lieu of a strategic assessment as part of government’s project future. The assessment which was conducted by Ernst & Young, laid out multiple options, including the reassignment of the foundations services which include the Bonaventure boys home and Frances Bodden children’s home in order to ensure better value for the government. CAYS Chief Officer Dorine Whitaker says no matter what recommendation is made, the rehabilitation of our children has a price.

Jade was the Press Officer for the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. She graduated with honors in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Florida
