Police issue apology for poor parking

The RCIPS is offering its apologies Thursday (1 December) after cell phone footage emerged of a squad car parked on a sidewalk.

Daybreak’s Jevaughnie Ebanks took the footage of the police car parked entirely up on a sidewalk off the Esterly Tibbetts Highway at Camana Bay.

The video has picked up significant traction on social media.

A police spokesperson says the department is aware of it and it is being addressed internally.

She says the car should not have been parked in that manner and the RCIPS apologises for any inconvenience caused to pedestrians.
