Police revisit Seymour’s murder scene

Today marks exactly one week where the Mid-Day killing of 34-year-old Damean Seymour took place on Martin Drive near Central, George Town.

Today police have revisited the crime scene looking for witnesses who may have information leading to an arrest in the matter.

Press Officer for the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (R.C.I.P.S) Jackie Carpenter said coming back to the scene one week later after the murder is more about finding people willing to share information rather than flushing out the shooter.

” It’s not so much about whether we think he’s in this area it’s about what people may have seen here the day of, that is of interest to us we’re not necessarily saying that he’s in this area, this minute, although he could be,” Ms. Carpenter explained.

Cayman 27’s Mario Grey has this report.
