Robberies up from last year

Robberies are up this year in Cayman over 2015, according to the latest data from police.  At our request, police supplied us the figures, year to date as compared to this same time as last year.

So far we have had 31 robberies, five up from 2015. With murders, we have one less at the moment than we did last year. The murder cases for this year are believed to be gang-related.  Police note they have had success in netting the criminals for the robberies and we are expecting data to back that up claim.
