Big Story: Weather Service boss Tibbetts talks hurricane predictions, Cayman’s wet weather

Nearly five inches of rain dropped on the Cayman Islands over the last several days and, according to meteorologists, several more may be on the way.

National Weather Service Director General John Tibbetts on Thursday (24 May) joined Cayman 27’s Kevin Morales to talk about a low-pressure system expected to develop into a tropical or subtropical depression over the weekend.

We also hear his reaction to hurricane season predictions released Thursday from the US-based National Hurricane Center.
