Updated: Seaview Road reopened

Police have reopened Seaview Road to vehicular traffic.
Earlier today (26 May) Seaview Road near the intersection of High Rock Road, East End was closed off after high winds knocked down power lines. This morning police were urging the public to be cautious when driving in the district. They said the area was unsafe as the powerlines were live. The roadway was blocked most of today.
According to a media statement from the RCIPS this evening said the area is now safe to traverse.
