According to the UK’s Daily Mail, one of England top youth footballers, 16-year-old Bobby Duncan is set to sign with Liverpool F.C.
Duncan has been with Manchester City for six years, but according to the website has not featured in City’s Academy due to a contract dispute.
Considered one of England’s top players for his age group, Duncan helped Manchester City to a 8-0 win in the finals of the 2016 Youth Football Cup in 2016, scoring four goals in total with two in the first five minutes.
Duncan is the cousin of Glasgow Rangers Manager and former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard. Liverpool is set to acquire the youngster in June when he turns 17 years of age, thus lifting Liverpool’s ban on signing youth players from English clubs.
