Police officers now investigating two reports of attempted child abductions say there’s no evidence the incidents are connected.
Police on Monday (14 May) arrested a man they suspect tried to abduct a child in West Bay on Sunday (13 May) near Piper Way.
There was another child abduction attempt in West Bay on 10 March.
In the most recent case, police say the suspect interacted inappropriately with two girls under the age of ten.
In the 10 March incident, the male suspect attempted to abduct a 7-year-old girl on Up the Hill Road in West Bay. He remains at large.
