The Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA has extended their deadline for nominations for the Stingray Awards.
You now have until next Friday (15 June) to say whom you think is deserving of recognition and they say a busy tourism season is the reason for the extension.
CITA executive director Tiffany Dixon-Ebanks said the awards give the community the opportunity to recognize members of the Tourism industry and those who made invaluable contributions to Cayman’s Tourism product.
“Hospitality is one of those sectors where it’s the people that actually make the industry strive. Those are the persons who add to the economic activity in the Cayman Islands and the contribution to the GDP,” said Mrs. Dixon Ebanks.
Mrs. Dixon Ebanks said with the current tourism season being so busy they feel the extension was needed to make sure all worthy nominees can be involved.
