The jury in a trial of a Caymanian woman facing multiple theft-related offences was discharged on Tuesday 5 June.
The court cited legal issues as the reason for the discharge.
Justice Carlisle Greaves dismissed the jury that was selected for the trial.
He also issued a court order prohibiting the media from disclosing why the jury was discharged and the name of the woman on trial, although it had previously been reported.
The case was adjourned until 4 July, when a new jury will be selected.
Bail conditions remain in effect for the female defendant pending the trial.
