BritCay donates golf cart to HSA

Patients with mobility challenges going to Health Services Authority (HSA) will now be greeted with the golf cart to assist with their troubles. Friday (26 October) morning the Cayman Islands hospital received a 2019 six-seater Cushman electric golf cart as a donation from BritCay. BritCay health manager Lamar Haynes said the golf cart will provide a great convenience for those who need it.

“This golf cart will help transport those individuals to different locations. It’s actually narrow enough so that it goes right through the doors, they can actually take the patients right to the departments that they need to take them to. The hospital has parking in different in areas out here as well and it will help them get to the parking lot. It’s also equipped with rain shield so it can move even when it’s adverse weather,” said Mr. Haynes.

The golf cart cost US$13,000.
