Martial Arts: CI Karate Federation’s Reis heads to 24th World Championships

The Cayman Islands Karate Federation (CIKF) will send martial artist Pedro Reis to the 24th World Senior Championships in Madrid, Spain starting 6-11 November.

Reis finished fourth overall in Kata at 4th Caribbean Championships 19-21 July in Curacao.

CIKF General Secretary Gregory Reid says it’s a milestone achievement for martial artists in Cayman, as Reis will be the first athlete from Cayman to compete at the World Championships.

CIVF have also organized a meet and greet with Reis 20th October from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Kings Sports Centre.

We get all the details about Reis’ journey and more!
