Netball: Canada blanks Cayman 3-0 in Tri-Series

Cayman’s national senior netball programme’s first in-game action of 2018 ended much like it’s last.

Travelling to Burnaby, British Columbia, Cayman fell 3-0 to the 24th ranked team from Canada in it’s Tri-Series held 25-27 October.

Playing at the Burnaby Mountain Secondary School, Cayman lost convincingly in Game One 78-31. Travelling to the Fortius Sport and Health Facility, Canada continued it’s dominance in Game Two winning 67-28. Cayman, however, saved it’s best performance for last, losing by it’s smallest margin in the finale, 58-37 in Game Three.

In 2017, Canada beat Cayman 3-0 in a Tri-Series held at Clifton Hunter High School.

Cayman will aim to gain an International Netball Federation ranking from the series.
