A one of a kind rescue as woman saves a chicken in distress

An act of human kindness caught on camera.

A video was submitted to Cayman 27, showing a woman jumping into the canal at the Cayman Islands Yacht Club to save a chicken. The chicken had jumped in the water and it got in distress, that’s when Vicky McClenaghan kicked into action. She said the rescue was meant to be on that day.

“I don’t know, I just decided to jump in but funny enough we go there sometime and I never wear my swimsuit but that day I did to go in the water with my kids and I was like well I’m in my swimsuit and my husband said he’s not getting out, but it felt good, I did a good deed even if it was for a chicken, so I guess the little things count,” said Ms. McClenaghan.

Ms. McClenaghan got a lot of support on social media for her act of kindness and judging from the speed the chicken ran off with, he was also grateful for the helping hand.
