Local talent heading to KAABOO Cayman

Ten local artistes put their voices to the test at Royal Palms over the weekend as they vied for a spot at Cayman’s biggest music event to date, KAABOO.

Judges flew in to choose which local talent was deserving of the spot and KAABOO Chief Brand Marketing Officer Jason Felts, who was also a judge, said the local artistes who were selected will have a great opportunity.

“It’s a couple that I’ve watched that can break out very quickly and KAABOO provides a great platform for that because at the end of the day you have an opportunity to perform at KAABOO not just for the audience that is there and all the guess that paid but for the industry in a hold so agents, managers, music record label executives, etcetera,” said Mr. Felts.

Here are the winners of KAABOO Discovers:

1. Danny Loops

2. Suckerbox

3. Shameka Clarke

4. Lionfish

5. Rico Rolando
