Miss World Cayman praises her strong family members in Miss World competition

Miss World Cayman Kelsie Woodman-Bodden was hoping on Friday (23 November) to make it through to the finals of the head-to-head competition of the Miss World 2018 finals in Sanya, China.

By all accounts, Miss Woodman-Bodden performed well in the group stage, where she praised the network of strong women around her in the community:

“When I was really young my father passed away,” Miss Woodman-Bodden revealed.

She added: “I was very fortunate to be raised by two really strong women in my mother and grandmother. So to me, graduating university really helped me to know that I made them proud.”

The finals do not take place until 8 December, but you can help Miss World Cayman get further in the competition by liking her official Facebook page.
