No arrests yet in hit and run, Cops appeal for witnesses

The police officer injured in Sunday’s (18 November) hit and run is back on the job, but the suspects behind the incident remain at large.
The officer was struck by a dark-coloured sedan that had stopped at a traffic check on the Esterly Tibbetts Highway near Yacht Drive.
Police say the officer stepped in front of the car to get the license plate number when the driver struck him and drove off.
The officer was released this week from the hospital and has resumed normal duties.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
