No charges yet for Bodden Town man accused of burying child alive

No charges yet for the 26-year-old Bodden Town man accused of attempting to murder a three-year-old child.

However, police said the man remains in police custody.

He was held after police received reports that the child was allegedly buried alive on Wednesday (21 November.)

It happened after 6 p.m. at a residence on Twig Drive and police said the child was in distress and had difficulty breathing.

They took the child to Savannah, where medical assistance was rendered.

The child was later hospitalized.

We reached out to police for an update on the child’s condition, but they declined to give any further details.
