Office of the Auditor General on port project

The Auditor General’s Office also discussed their role in the proposed cruise berthing facility project on Tuesday (6 November.)

Last week, H.E. Governor Martyn Roper said he had full confidence in the Auditor General when it came to the port project.

“The cruise berthing project right now, we’re just really, we’d be considered in the monitoring stage,” Deputy Auditor General Garnet Harrison said.

He added: “We’ll look at the tendering process right through to completion. There’s not much more I can say at this point in time, because the project isn’t off the ground.”
