One man remains in custody after police seized 38 gaming roosters and a quantity of ganja from a George Town residence.
Police said just before 11 a.m. on Tuesday (27 November) they searched a home at Brushy Avenue.
They said they found ganja, utensils and a sum of cash there. They also said they found the illegal gaming birds on the property.
According to an RCIPS release, officers arrested a 38-year-old- George Town man in connection with the incident.
He faces five charges including, ganja possession and animal cruelty.
Police said the roosters were examined by the Department of Agriculture and seized.
