Woman crashes into light pole

The Fire Services had to free a woman from her vehicle after she collided with a light pole Sunday (19 November.)
The incident also caused a power outage in the Prospect area.
According to the  RCIPS a blue Kia Rio had crashed on Marina Drive and Party Lane just before 10:15 p.m.

The vehicle sustained extensive damage to the front and the light pole was broken in the middle.
Police said the single female occupant was trapped in the car at the time.

She was removed from the vehicle and taken to the Cayman Islands hospital where she remains under observation at this time.
The Cayman Utilities Company also responded to the crash and later restored power.

The incident is currently under investigation.
