Cayman national alert system test planned for Friday

Cayman’s new emergency alert system is set for a trial run this Friday (30 August).
Hazard Management Cayman Islands and the Department of Public Safety and Communication say they will begin testing the national emergency notification system’s radio alert system.
This means all radio broadcasts will be briefly interrupted to conduct the testing.
