Connolly has his say

Independent George Town MLA Winston Connolly worked with the Progressives team for three years – he was made a Councillor in the education and employment ministry and sat in on caucus meetings helping to make critical choices for the future of the country.

However, two weeks ago, he took the decision to walk away from it saying he needed to make sure his ideas were not at the mercy of the premier or the party. It’s a move that may trigger a snap election, as the premier says it is now an option on the table.

Mr. Connolly explains his decision to Cayman 27’s Tammi Sulliman
