Humane Society AC troubles

The Cayman Islands Humane Society says unforeseen AC troubles left them $2,000 out of pocket.

Lesley Walker the Director of the shelter told Cayman 27, they are using an aging building that constantly needs repairs, and now some the AC units have stopped working.

She says thankfully some individuals stepped up, to help out, but the unforeseen expense shortened an already small budget.

Ms Walkers says despite the step back they are looking forward to their biggest fund raising event of the year, ‘Furball’, which will have 1950’s theme this year.

For ticket you can call the Humane Society at 949-1461.
