Eight young ladies will vie for the crown and title of Miss Cayman Islands 2016.
One of those young ladies is 24 year old Erin Nicole Hislop
Erin is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Services, having recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminology. She is currently employed at The Family Resource Centre. She loves to listen to people’s stories, go boating, read novels and simply enjoy the great things life has to offer. With a black belt in ju-jitsu, this Miss Cayman contestant has achieved everything she puts her mind to, and looks forward to the next milestone.
Erin’s deep love and appreciation for the beautiful Cayman Islands, and a passion for community empowerment is what motivates her to become an ambassador for her country. Remaining humble, relatable, and listening to suggestions and concerns of her fellow Caymanians is what she values most highly as a contestant. She believes that should she win the crown, she will have a unique opportunity to make a difference in her beloved country.
Erin will take the stage at the Miss Cayman Islands pageant Saturday 30 January.
