Eight young ladies will vie for the crown and title of Miss Cayman Islands 2016.
One of those young ladies is 24 year old Latrese Haylock.
Latrese has been an on-air personality for the past few months, gaining invaluable experience towards her career passion. She is a Volunteer Programmes Director at the Save our Youth Foundation and novice chess player with the Cayman Islands Chess Club. In her opinion, she would make a great Miss Cayman Islands because of her leadership abilities in the community, and would also use the opportunity to document and influence the youth of the Cayman Islands via social media.
In 2007, Latrese was crowned Miss Cinderella Teen and has noteworthy background in dance, winning a Hip-Hop dance competition. She believes that everything happens for a reason and is a staunch advocate of social inclusion and promoting a lifestyle of peace and health for Cayman’s youth.
Latrese will take the stage at the Miss Cayman Islands pageant Saturday 30 January.
