A true local talent showcase

Cayman’s musical future took to the stage on Saturday (January 23) where they displayed their talents at the Muzaic, Music and arts festival at the Harquail Theathre.  Local rapper Mr. Matrixx shared his thoughts on CMEA’s involvement with the growing art scene.

“In Cayman we have a lot of talented people but what happens is that a lot of them don’t get any recognition. Local people don’t know about them sometimes they don’t get radio play,” said Mr Matrixx.

Now in its 8th year the Muziac is the premier fundraiser for the CME; and this year the funds raised will go towards refurbishing instruments in the public high schools.
