Turning back now to last week’s robbery at a Camana Bay jewelry store.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of precious stones were taken in what was the first armed robbery of 2016.
In the past, police will admit many witnesses are reluctant to come forward to help detectives after crimes like this.
That doesn’t seem to be the case this time around.
But the man in charge of the investigation says they still need more help, and many potential witnesses are still out there and could have vital information for the investigation.
Anyone with information that could help the police, or if you saw the dirt bike with two men on board last Wednesday (17 February) night call detectives in George Town on 949-4222.
