Never give, says Nelson

One young Caymanian footballer has some words of encouragement to the young girls looking to following in her footsteps. Cayman Islands National Women’s team defender Amanda Nelson says anything is possible with hard work, dedication and faith.

Nelson told Cayman 27,”They  have to block out all that negativity. They definitely have to keep God in their lives, because that helps a lot with sports and everyday life and I feel they train everyday and if they want it bad enough I could happen.”

She singed to play college level football with Limestone College in South Carolina. Her team plays in Division 2 of the NCAA.
