UCCI prepares for second TEDx Talks

Ideas worth spreading are coming to Cayman, at the upcoming TEDxUCCI event.  TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TEDx  are independently run TED events, that help to share ideas in communities around the world.

University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) will host its second TEDx event later this year. This year’s event will be under the theme “Future Vision”. Leaders, visionaries, artists, inventors, hobbyists, and adventurers will provide a glimpse of what the future might hold for all of us. If you apply by Saturday 20 February you can take advantage of a 2-for-1 early bird special. The deadline to apply to attend is Monday 29 February.

In anticipation for its next TEDx event, UCCI will simulcast this year’s sold out TED conference. The simulcast, set for Tuesday 16 February, will run all day, so visitors can feel free to come and go as their schedule allows.
