CAF Fish Fry

The Cayman AIDS Foundation is hosting a fish fry to raise funds for their community education programme.

Noel Cayasso-smith, Cayman AIDS Foundation CEO shares details of what will be on the menu and where people can get tickets from with Daybreak’s Keevon Douglas.

Mr. Smith elaborates that this is the 2nd year of doing the fish fry and where the funds raised goes to.  He also tells people how they can also assist with the foundation and how to donate towards it. He also discusses why it’s important to be educated, stressing that knowledge is key.  Mr. Smith also mentions other services that the foundation offers.

Delisa Hernandez made her TV debut in 2010, as producer and co-host of Cayman 27’s The Conversation. She went on to produce and host The Pulse Cayman 27’s weekly Friday night entertainment show.

In 2011 Delisa was tapped to co-host and co-produce Daybreak - the morning show on Cayman 27. In 2012, she became a weather anchor for Daybreak and then weather anchor for the 6 pm newscast in 2014. She also produced and anchored ‘Entertainment Extra’ a weekly entertainment segment in the 6pm newscast.

She is bi-lingual speaking both English and Spanish. She was born and raised in the Cayman Islands to a Caymanian mother and Honduran Father, with one sibling and 4 dogs.
