CARIFTA team breakdowns and Scholars learns lessons on LTS

Cayman Islands athletes are representing the country this week at both the CARIFTA Swimming Championships and the CARIFTA Track and Field Championships.

On the 23 March episode of Let’s Talk Sports, some of the best and brightest in those respective sports joined host Kevin Morales to break down the teams.

Former National swim team coach Dominic Ross joins us to talk about Cayman’s 22-member swim team competing in Martinique this week. We talk expectations, where Cayman’s swimmers can excel and some of the names he expects to come out with the most medals.

For the CARIFTA track segment, Invictus Track Club coach Delroy Murray breaks down Cayman’s athletes’ performances this season and compares them to the rest of the Caribbean for an in-depth look at how local athletes stack up and who can expect to medal.

Finally, Scholars International assistant coach Mark Beckford and club President Cline Glidden join us to talk about the club’s recent trip to the Caribbean Football Union Club Championships.

Plus we rundown our Top 5 Plays of the Week and give our You’re the Man Now, Dawg award all on the 23 March episode of Let’s Talk Sports.
