The privately-owned Chrissie Tomlinson hospital has changed hands, from Dr. Steve Tomlinson to the doctors who deliver services there.
Radiologist Dr. Yaron Rado says the new buyers are locally based and that no one should expect the hospital to change the way it serves patients. “We set it up, its a share holding company. Many people bought shares, most of the people that bought shares are actually doctors who work inside of the hospital, some are from outside of the hospital, some are doctors who work outside of the hospital, some are business people, local Caymanian business people,” he said.
Dr. Rado also added that locals should expect the shift in ownership to bring about sophisticated upgrades in technology and management that will help to serve patients better.
